Brokerage and Trust in South Korea’s Illicit Migrant Labor Market

This page presents an overview of my collaborative research project on private labor brokers in South Korea’s illicit migrant day-labor market. The project examines how brokered labor relations operate with relative stability despite legal exclusion, uncertainty, and the absence of formal protection.

I am currently preparing a fuller version of this page, which will include the project background, fieldwork process, main arguments, related outputs, and selected references.

More details will be added soon.
